Hello everyone, I am Jeon Dayeon and originally from Korea Pusan. I have been living in China for 16 years so I can speak fluent Chinese. I have studied in China since I was a junior high school student. Even my friends call me semi-Chinese, or Shandong girl. My family lives in Qingdao and we all like this country so much. Therefore, I hope I could stay in China and find a job at here.

I was studying in advertising school of Communication University of China for my bachelor degree and my major is arts and design. In the second year, I chose arts management as my specialization. At the beginning, I did not know anything about this unpopular specialization except some concepts. However, after studying and practicing for one year, I gradually understood what I was studying and I was attracted by this specialization so much. Although I knew that my specialization focused on arts management of exhibit planning, I realized that we are not just doing everything for exhibit planning. After finishing my undergraduate program, I applied for arts management and cultural industry as my graduate program, which is in the school of art of Peking University. Fortunately, I got the offer. In Peking University, I fully understand the comprehensiveness of arts management. Right now, I’m still studying at the beginning level, but I really want to go deeper and further. Compared with arts management, cultural industry is even stranger for me at the beginning, but right now, I am really interested in it after my one year studying and internship. I used to be an intern in Korea Show Box film Production Company for six months and I was working for marketing, management and scripts. During these six months, I learnt a lot of cultural industry knowledge about film and the entire process of film production. And I found that China is such a huge film market with tremendous potential. However, we have too many people choosing film as their research directions, and also I am interested in doing something for children, so I chose cultural industry content, which is related to children after discussed with my master supervisor. By far, I did not decide the specific direction of my research, but I tend to focus on the institution of early learning such as global career experience centre and family entertainment centre and then analyze the differentiation of activity centers in Korea and China.

I hope that more children can study in the pleasant environment based on my research.
