The launch meeting of National Social Science Foundation Significant Arts Research Project: Research on the Policy and Strategy of International Communication of Chinese Culture and Arts was held at Yannanyuan No.51 meeting room in October 24, 2014 afternoon. Well-known scholars and experts in the field of culture and arts were invited to attend the meeting.

Professor Wang YiChuan, the Dean of School of Arts, presented a welcome speech to the attended scholars and experts. Professor Peng Feng, the Associate Dean of School of Arts and the Director of the Art Theory Department, chaired the meeting. Professor Lin Yi, the Principle Investigator of the project gave a brief report on current project preparetion and overall planning. As the supervisors of the sub-projects, Professor Wang YiChuan, Professor Peng Feng, and Professor Xie DaJing announced their research plans respectively.

Scholars and experts, then, proposed valuable comments and suggestions from different perspectives. Yu Ping, the Director of the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Culture, made a summarizing speech for the implementation of the research. He encouraged the research team to complete the project successfully.
